Experienced anglers, who know how to enjoy their hobby in a completely different way, need only one thing for this – first-class equipment! The Dragon CXT SF-X Super Fast series are rods designed specifically for this purpose, especially when using soft lures or light spinners and wobblers when catching whitefish and perch. The best example to experience the full potential of spinning rods is boat fishing in still or stagnant waters. One section and everything else in two – length, casting and action, combined with super low weight and unsuspected possibilities – get ready for action and countless fishing stories!
CXT and X-Cross are technologies very familiar to anglers interested in innovation and improvement. They are associated with high costs and expensive materials, but also with much lighter and strong blanks, due to the one-time heating process and the arrangement of graphite inserts with different densities in a specific way, as well as at a 45-degree angle to the axis. Specialists from Dragon have entrusted the making of the Japanese from Toray, and the effect of these developments is both sensitive and powerful rods, extremely durable, each with a precisely calculated density and distribution of graphite, according to its purpose and action.
The hard-to-use graphite material of 80 mln PSI – something many companies are wary of, is used here with all its advantage for some of the layers! As a result, rods retain their small diameter and increase their strength – at static overload by about 30%, and with dynamic – by about 10%. Therefore, the rare combination of high resistance to mechanical damage plus more progressive action and much greater opportunities for long-distance casting are another feature in the long list of Dragon CXT rods.
The components are selected according to the purpose of the different models – Fuji Alconite K-Series guides for FC-X, SF-X and MS-X series, and SiC class for LC-X and CF-X. The reel seats are Fuji PTS and TVS on the FC-X models and IPS or PTS on the others. The handles are covered with the highest class EVA foam or are a combination of rubber and cork, and the final stylish look impresses with anodized metal elements and Gudebrod threads coated with Trondak lacquer.
