For maximum success with Count Down, just follow this advice: as soon as the wobbler has fallen into the water, pick up all the free fiber and perform immediate contact with the bait. Let it sink while counting in your mind “a thousand and one … a thousand and two … a thousand and three, etc.” The counting continues until the wobbler reaches the bottom or stops in some algae. Remember what number you have reached at this moment! Then, on the next throw, reduce the number by one or two positions before you start winding. This way Count Down will move just above the bottom or above the algae!

When fishing in drafts, swing the wobbler slightly against the current so that it has time to sink freely without tension on the line, and start winding when it has reached the depth you want.
